Questions accepted for submission must relate to a business topic, such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, Planning, Branding, etc. Learn More and Application

Workshop/Seminar Speaker Applications

The workshop/seminar must cover your expertise, not your business. While you may use illustrations from your business for clarification, you may not advertise or sell your products or services. However, instructors/facilitators may attach their business cards to handouts and leave brochures on a side table for anyone to take that evening.

  1. The workshop/seminar must have business value. For example, you own a dance studio. A tap dancing class is out of the question; however, how to run a Tap Dancing Studio could be a topic.
  2. You will need to fill out an application that must be accompanied by an outline of your workshop/seminar, and your bio.
  3. Please keep in mind that each session can have anywhere from 5 to 20 attendees.
  4. You can ask for a fee, or you can donate your time and material.
  5. All workshops/seminars are “brown-bag seminars.” Attendees will bring their own food, beverages, and snacks, and may eat during the class.
  6. The applications will be individually reviewed by the Programming committee, and their recommendations must then be approved by the Executive Board.
If you are interested in facilitating a workshop/seminar, you may apply by filling out the application form, printing and sending it, along with backup material, to our current VP Programming.
